Action Chess invented in UAE
Hisham Al Taher, the Secretary General of the Asian Chess Federation (ACF) and the former player of the UAE national chess team, has invented a new dynamic rapid game of chess which was part of the ceremonies of the 13th FIDE World Youth Chess Championships.
The exhibition match was called " Al Ain Chess" as it was unveiled for the first tiem. It is a simultaneous action game between two players over three to five boards with a time limit ranges as per the rules and regulation of FIDE ( the World Chess Federation) Blitz and Rpaid Chess Matches.
The mathc which took five minutes ended in a 2 - 2 tie. Kirsan Ilyumzhinov, the president of FIDE, praised the game in the quest of the chess all over the world to improve the brain sport.
"I am delighted and proud that my game has met with a warm welcome from the wolrd chess family. It is a small contribution to the game I love and will be registered as an invention from my country." Al Taher said.
